Life near Redding Ca.
Dear Sarah, Hannah, Julia & Joshua,
I'm sorry that I haven't written on this blog in such a long time. Today, you played in the awesome treehouse your daddy built- actually he designed & engineered it- to hold up to 2000 pounds! It's as big as a bedroom! You also love the "Pegasus Swing" he made for you. One of your favorite things to do as a family is to ride bikes. Joshua, before he turned 4, started riding a big bike without any training wheels. Your balance bike was worth the money because it indeed taught you how to balance and so you never even needed training wheels. Now, Julia is riding the balance bike except she didn't like that it was blue so we bought fancy duct tape and changed it to pink & grey. Joshua also just started T-Ball. You love it. As a fundraiser you received a box on Sat. of 60 candy bars. In one day, with the help of your big sisters, you sold all of them! The first half was sold after church this morning. Then you walked around our neighborhood with Sarah, Hannah & Daddy and sold the rest! Daddy said you all did a great job selling candy bars. First when the door opened this is what you all said: Sarah, "Hi, my name is Sarah, this is my sister Hannah and our little brother, Joshua. Hannah said next: "Joshua just started playing T Ball and is selling candy bars. Would you like to buy one? Joshua then said in a high voice: "Just one dollar". Of course who could resist buying chocolate from such cute kids? Julia stayed home with mommy and helped me clean the kitchen. She loves her ballet class. Sarah still loves to sing. Especially praise songs that she makes up. She also likes her ceramics, knitting & Spanish classes that she & Hannah take at APL with other homeschoolers in Redding. Hannah loves gymnastics and wants to be a gymnastics teacher when she grows up. Sarah wants to be a cook or a singer. Joshua wants to be an engineer- that drives trains and sweet Julia wants to be an artist. You like going to Turtle Bay museum and love taking friends and family that visit to the Sundial Bridge. It is beautiful here where we live- with views of Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta with snow on it. We haven't made a weekend trip yet to the mountains but plan to soon before it gets too warm. Spring is already in the air and the weather has been so nice- in the 70's. I am so thankful for you. I know God has a special plan for our lives and am excited about our future.
I love you with all my heart,
Love,
Mommy
